That, and sometimes high IQ doesn’t necessarily mean “smart”. A lot of high IQ people are real world space cadets. They do great with theories and such, but basic structured work is completely beyond their abilities. Notice philosophy is high on the list

Also, some fields you have to be very smart just to enter the field, like physics.

I think some fields, like accounting, you can be a hard-working overachiever and be very successful.

I'm not sure you can be an overachieving astrophysicist.

Which category did the legal profession fall under?

Did lawyers just not make the cut?

Within fields this exists, too.

Lots of low IQ family law lawyers but very few low-IQ patent lawyers.

It really makes you think about “science”

The ancient Egyptians believed that the smarts were carried in the balls and when you see how much lower womens iqs are on average it really makes sense

I’ve observed a lot of females in my field- medical technologist- that could have easily been MDs. They chose poorly

Well, anyone who watched Borat already knew that women have smaller brains. Science.

Masculinity is the world’s problem.

It’s sort of like climate change.

That’s what the social medias have taught me

How much of an increase in property taxes are you willing to pay in order to attract the higher IQs? How long do you think they’d put up with it knowing there are better options?

think these are overly broad professional categories. So a CPA would be lumped in with an accounting clerk.

Could be.

But an accounting clerk might have an associates degree or high school coursework, or even be self taught. Those wouldn't show up in the numbers. Unless I read it wrong and it's the profession as opposed to the major, which is possible since I'm looking at it on a small screen.

Yet women will still complain about a wage gap despite choosing markedly lower paying jobs

Wage comparisons are made comparing the same job in the same industry. They aren't comparing clerks in clothing boutiques with interventional cardiologists.

Yes. I don't think they are comparing Tim Cook's comp to some woman teaching at a Baton Rouge high school just like I don't think they are comparing your salary to Mary Barra's to determine a wage gap or the number would be over 1000%.
