The walker mayor is out of his mind. Even if that is completely true, this isn't the time to get on a soapbox and scream it on TV.

EA was fine yesterday. But so was Wal Mart and Oak Terrace.

So encouraging to see people losing everything and staying positive, and encouraging others. Puts a lot of things in perspective. Shows how resilient and self sufficient we are down here.

Just got word that you can get down Rushing now. Double check if Range is open as my group came down Florida.

I have one friend that lives in there that didn't get water in..he drives the Orange dodge truck in the back..but then another that lives in the very back left corner but on the inside lot, he has water from what I've seen on Facebook..

I rode out to Gonzales today to help my place of employment prepare for the water in AP. Sandbagging and whatnot. Water is rising all over the place, I'm about to gtfo

With reports of Ward's Creek and Bayou Fountain receding, could that water be going to Alligator Bayou and Spanish Lake instead of back to Manchac?

This is also very close to Dutchtown-which is directly south of Ridge Road

LeBlanc's, Walmart in Gonzales on Airline shut down. Water coming into the parking lot LeBlanc's and Ledets.

Update: Alligator Bayou Road is Closed. Ascension Parish Officials urge citizens not to travel to the locks. Bayou Manchac has overtopped Alligator Bayou Road. The road is in jeopardy of washing out.

This is why they announced the evacuation of the Women's prison in St. Gaberiel they know the Road is very likely to wash out since the water will continue rising until the weekend.

That flooding in Walker is DOTD's fault because of the design of the I-12 dividing wall; e.g. that wall caused flood levels to be several feet higher than they should have been...
