With reports of Ward's Creek and Bayou Fountain receding, could that water be going to Alligator Bayou and Spanish Lake instead of back to Manchac?
Yes

I'm on sycamore bend. Not on the lake side The water is dropping in the neighborhood as of now very slowly. It got pretty bad. People do have some water in their houses especially on the lake, as the lake did meet the road. I'm almost sure anyone living at the front of the neighborhood flooded pretty good, as that ditch on church point floods a lot. It really just depends on where your house is on the outer rim. But if u live on the lake expect water in your house. At least a few inches

anyone see anything about EA high school?
Wife drove by there this morning. The fields were flooded and probably some outline buidings too. Main campus looked ok, but the water is coming up over there.

This is why they announced the evacuation of the Women's prison in St. Gaberiel they know the Road is very likely to wash out since the water will continue rising until the weekend.
They evacuated the prison as a precaution. The rest is your speculation using a very loose definition of "likely" and any link to rising water through the weekend?
FWIW, your link was posted and updated 8/14/2016. It would be nice if you did the slightest bit of fact checking and time stamps on your posts in this thread.

I have a small canal behind my neighborhood in Southwood Village in Prairieville. Its called Grand Goudine. It's connected to the New River, but it's very far down.
I haven't heard anyone reporting on it. Which I assume is a good thing. But can anyone shed some light on it possibly overflowing??

Pinecrest just off of 931(Germany Rd) behind DEMCO the water has gone down a good bit since 2pm yesterday. Just heard from my sister. Water got right to the bottom of the house and they left in a boat. Went back today and had to use a kayak because a boat wouldn't go in that far.
