Anyone with family in Torrey Pines that haven't been there to assess damage....appears all trailers got water in them.
My dad's truck flooded, based on watermarks 2 feet or so of water was in the trailer. Thanks to ATT being as awesome a service provider as they are....I'm having to make all the phone calls for my parents right now because their cell service is so spotty right now.
Yet the power stayed on the entire time(don't worry...I had them shut the power off).

yep he says the built a dam that caused flooding in walker
Didn't he also say that the water levels for this were "about" the same as the flood in 1983?

running today and a FedEx truck just passed in front of my house. WAFB said about 10 minutes ago that the main Post Office on Bluebonnet will hand out mail to Livingston Parish residents. I'm guessing they still can't deliver in LP.
Ah ok thanks, I'll check there tomorrow, our subdivision is still not accessible

From James LeBlanc, Constable and St Amant Vol Fire Dept Chief:
Guys here is the latest. Gonzales and Sorrento you will be impacted today. If your land is dry right now, do not let this fool you. If water starts coming to you in the Gonzales and Sorrento areas TODAY. You need to LEAVE. This event is NOT OVER. St. Amant, water is still flowing from Laurel Ridge Levee. Don't worry about the levee at Laurel Ridge breaking, the water is GOING OVER the levee. St. Amant, you WILL NOT see water leave your house until this weekend. We thought Friday, NO it will be through the weekend. Chemical Plants, you will still have trouble with people getting to work, you will have issues with RAW MATERIALS getting to your facilities. I REPEAT, this EVENT is NO WHERE over in Ascension. People are stressed, people have loss everything, and more people are fixing to lose everything. DO NOT GET CAUGHT by water that has not entered your property yet. Again, my motto - Our hearts are shattered, but OUR faith is not broken. I need you to please share this, I'm over my limit on facebook friends. PEOPLE need this message. Fire Chief / Constable James E. LeBlanc
And yes - I LOVE YOU

He was last seen at around 2 a.m. on Sunday, according to family. His red ATV was found in water along a boat launch at the Mallard Lakes subdivision off Hoo Shoo Too Road. His daughter said she believed he had fallen and injured his head.
