Any speculation on when water will go down in Santa Maria? My grandparents live on Montclair right off of Spyglass and he told they were an inch awa from flooding inside. I've got buddies with boats that will go get them but my grandfather is being stubborn.

I noticed it had started washing out on Sat. Figured it was only a matter of time until it falls in.

One of the things that concerns me is that we have no idea what those I10 bridges at Manchac look like. They may not be structurally sound and rebuilding them could be a clusterfrick for a long time in BR.

SIAP, and I hope all dries out quickly for my Bayou buddies
I remember watching the band that moved through BR around the 12 second mark. That was the night that I was most worried about and there for a bit it looked like that band was going to be it. Then the warm core nocturnal rain bomb went off. Typically, warm core nocturnal rain events die off during the morning hours but then the system actually strengthened and just kept on going... never seen anything like it.

What was also unusual about the system was how the strongest rains were on the southwest quadrant.
