I am curious - are any of you actually in the area to watch it? Especially Burbank or Highland and Bluebonnet - that is the area I think should be flooding about now.
I'm in Springlake at Bluebonnet/Burbank. No change here.

I can run and go check those areas again real quick.

Just made it home, been shuttling people from their exit off boats to Celtic... Last load they told me they were just about at max capacity. Anyone hearing this? How many more can Lamar Dixon take? We were grabbing people off of sharp until dark fell I know there will be more tommorow

Don't risk your life or anything but if you can do it safely I'd love to see if you think things are staying the same, decreasing, or increasing.

I'm too many beers in now to go check. But if it's risen significantly since 7:30, I'd be shocked.

9:00 update just hit on the area just downstream from Highland/Siegen.
So water levels are 100% still going up.

Got a colleague very close to there who says it's dry. Seems unlikely.

Bluebonnet had water at the bridge but not above it an hour ago. Some water in the road approaching burbank
Posted on 8/14/16 at 9:41 pm to UNO
Just drove around bluebonnet burbank again, water still 5ish feet from the roads. Soccer fields flooded. Little water in walgreens and firestone parking lots. Westhaven totally flooded. Springlake looks fine, hwy 30 looked fine.
