Solid idea but the liquor laws in Baton Rouge concerning bars and night clubs is just ridiculous. You pretty much kiss Sundays goodbye if you aren't a food first venue

I remember years and years ago when I did the bar thing, there was a place in West End Park near Lake Pontchartrain where you could go. It had numerous clubs surrounded by a giant chain link fence and you paid one price to go into all of the clubs. It was pretty fun.

Their subdivisions are still some of the nicest in SBR, their name is on a theater downtown and a BREC park, and they donated the land for the Bluebonnet Swamp (major tax writeoff). I think their legacy is intact. Not sure about David, but Rick most likely could care less about further boosting his legacy as he slumbers peacefully on his huge pile of cash.

Hopefully we help them out with that. I do think businesses in the future will have to decide if they like being next to the neighborhood that is right there. It really does bring a bad element to that property.

The shopping center is a haven for trash and heroin. I see cars parked there with people sleeping in them all the time.

yeah, a multi level night club is a terrible idea.
Something like the White Star Market should have gone there. The Valley, along with poor management has put this place where it is.

fox and hound may have not been the best place in town, but at least it was a clean and viable option next to a nice steakhouse and nearby hotels.
