At what point does it just end? Everyone can see it coming, computers replacing humans , electronics watching and listening to our ever move.

This country or all of mankind? I'd give the US another 60-70 decent years before Idiocracy comes to fruition. I won't see it but my kid probably will.

The next step is persistent wide-scale surveillance that can capture high resolution video that is used to track every individuals location as they travel about their day. Then it will be thermal image that can track every person even if they are indoors.

They can track you, but what will happen is that there will be so much data that the system will miss things anyway.

I watched a documentary on the plague back in the 1300's. They claim that it's the same disease that destroyed the human population in 540AD.
So that's 700 years in-between massive plagues that killed about 50% of the population each time.
The first case the 2nd time around was 1333 in China. So, 112-114 more years until we see another devastating plague?
