Of all the incompetent govt and quasi-govt entities I had to deal with when we lived in NOLA, Entergy nightmares remain most vivid, followed close by the b**ches in billing at SWB.

Seems like Entergy is saying dips of 30-40 prevent are within standard

No idea if they said that, but a 30-40% dip would drop every transmission customer offline.

With their powers combined, maybe they can create a black hole of suck to drain the water.

If you know voltage is going to be a concern, why not run the diesel gennys primarily and use Entergy power as a backup

I mean....that is what the article is saying they are going to do now that they know about the voltage. They are going back to self generation.

There's enough DEI horseshite wrapped up in this that someone is too inept to put this together. They should privatize it. I have zero faith in NOLA's municipal ability in the past 30 years to not frick this up. Everything is taped and wired together. Be glad you don't have to depend on any of these people for your life. If you do, I'd recommend you move immediately..

the information is on the company’s website. “It is made available to all customers, and we were never asked to have a meeting about that in particular,
So Entergy assumed SWB would do their homework and SWB assumed Entergy would hold their hand through everything, and no one communicated anything and now here they are. I've worked on enough projects where Entergy was involved, they dont communicate shite, and they just show up demand to move shite out of their way, install what they want and drive off. Getting them to cooperate on anything during a construction project requires a call to a PSC member to call them and get off their asses.

Tymrak is an engineer, an Environmental engineer.

As the head of the SWB I would want either a Mechanical engineer or civil engineer and probably both,

Dollar to a donut she knows little about electrical / mechanical engineering.

Entergy can’t keep the power going in Amite County, Ms. during a two minute rain. Ours is out now, worst company that I know of, if it gets dark during the day or clouds up you can bet that it’s going off, the money they spend on right of way’s clearings they should just stop doing it, doesn’t seem to help around here
