I get the point you are making. But you sound like a Boomer with your get off my lawn post.
Every generation feels like this to some extent. Their experience was the best, and the next generation is missing out on some fundamental joys.

Zoomer is another name for Gen Z.

As a millennial (born in 1988), it is getting annoying how boomers mistake us for Zoomers. They see youth and think automatically “ah these damn millennials!!! Get off my front lawn!”
We didn’t grow up with an iPhone btw. My first game system was sega genesis. So yeah.

This place needs a board just for dumb generational topics.

It's not recent. The phrase "zoomer" has been used on 4chan long before "ok boomer" was a thing. It's mainly used to deride people who grew up in the objectively inferior 2006-present kid culture.

I've seen them called iGen which seems fitting.

Sounds like a millennial saying all his shite is the best.

I'm a millennial by birth year and I've never seen any of these shows. And I watched a lot of cartoons.
he does understand that by definition those are not millennials even though some publications still lump them together.
True millennial watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, He-Man and Thurdercats.
He doesnt understand that some millennials were 7-9 in 1990.

I appreciate that my sentence was hedged as frick with "are almost bridge" language, but you and I aren't disagreeing with one another. I was simply pointing out that using those shows as examples of Millennials cartoons struck me as a bit odd. Especially because cartoons tend to be heavy on re-runs even after no longer in production, the earlier examples from the early 90's that then ran, or re-ran, for the next decade make more sense to me.
Ren and Stimpy (91-96)
Doug (91-99)
Rugrats (91-04)
Rocko's Modern Life (92-96)
Animaniacs (93-98)
You then had the late entries that were obviously geared towards older Millennials like Daria (97-02) and then your earlier X-Millennial bridges like Bevis and Butthead (93-11).

Ok, but you don't understand that also some millennials were born later and for them, he's right. I watched TMNT, He-Man, and Thundercats, but those are such early memories in my mind that I can barely remember them. And all of the cartoons he's mentioned, I watched.

I never said late 90s-early 2000s cartoons were the main Millennial cartoons period. I said they were the main LATE Millennial cartoons. Late Millennials were born in the early-mid 90s and had their childhood in the late 90s and early 2000s. Sure, we had the internet, but internet was't a dominant part of peoples' lives until around 2006. That's the main divide between Millennials and Zoomers.
