How did mid-90s babies give Millennials a bad name? We weren't consuming tide pods or being addicted to Fortnite/Minecraft/Webkinz when we were teenagers.

Yeah, you were doing it in your 20's.

cutoff? what cuttoff?

I was mainly referring to the people like demographers that typically post about this. I'd agree that a person born in 1982 is probably not a millennial in any sense of the word.

have you read anything i have said. someone born in 1982 id a PRIME millennial by every sense of the word. They were 18 in 2000...... so the are actually the perfect age that "came of age" around the millennium. My whole arrangement is people born after 1989 are NOT millennials like everyone thinks because that is who the media called millennials for years.

assuming you were born in 1978 because of your username, I probably have more things in common with you being born in 84 then I do someone being born in 1990. Be cause my early early childhood was similar to your whole child hood. Where someone born in 1990 has no concept of childhood prior to dial up internet.

Most generational studies have 1996 babies, or the H/S Chass of 2014, as the last of the Millennials. Lucky for me, I just happened to be born less than 2 weeks before my school district's grade cutoff, which is the September-October border.

and those studies biggest determining factor is staying near the 20 year range. Which in this day in age is asinine. I have nothing in common with someone who graduated high school when I was 10 years in the work force after college. How do you not see that. 14 years is way to big of gap during the tech boom.

that’s pretty inconsequential. The vast majority of kids lives were not affected by maybe having dial up internet in the house in the 90s and 2000s.

That's a lot of words just to point out how insecure millennials are. And no, GenX does not want to be your friends.

This is the weirdest Millennial-on-Zoomer flex I've ever seen in my life.

How are we insecure? We lust love reminiscing fondly on our amazing childhoods.

I was born in 91. Dad taught computers so we had free internet (sounds weird now). I remember getting those free AOL trial CDs in the mail and tossing them like a frisbee. That was fun lol.

I remember AOL from the very, very beginning of my childhood. Never used it, but I clearly remember the sound effects from other people using it.

Lucky? You understand you gain nothing from this right? Don't let your birth date or peers define you.

I know what they have in common.

Us Boomers fricked the asses off their mothers and grandmothers.

If that's what you want to think, then so be it. I'll always take solace in knowing that I'm among the last of the Millennials.
