You can opt to not show any information on Tinder like that. But having mutual FB friends is the EASIEST way to get in a bitch on Tinder. "Oh how you know [insert mutual]? We've been pals for years. Ask [him or her] about [insert fun time shared with mutual friend in the past]"
Most times they won't bother checking up on you b/c they don't want to admit meeting you there. BAM. In da pussy.
ETA: So I've heard from fr33. I've never been on this Tender thing nor Plenty of Fish or Ok Cupid.

I also miss the days of total internet anonymity. Back in the day as a 10 year old and early teenager I was on things like IRC, ICQ, AOL Chat, AIM, MPLAYER, Yahoo Messenger, etc and there was only screen names.
I wish we could get back to those days. Now that I think about it TD is the closest thing to those glory days. People say a lot more honest shite and don't put up facades when they are anonymous. It's like the whole internet culture went for this identity/social networking crap and LOOK AT ME mentality.

On dating websites, it is pretty easy to figure out the fakes. They are the ones who contact me 
In reality, a lot of girls are real. I haven't talked to any fakes to my knowledge because I end up talking to them on the phone or going out with them. Probably met 15-20 over the years, but I haven't been on in a while, so they could be filled with bots now
