Amber heard a career is done though. That much is obvious

I've been behind because of meetings this afternoon but I'm finally getting to the pictures of the damage to her. Those are incredibly weak, especially the ripped out hair, that looked like it came from her hairbrush and her head looked like it had been brushed aside. Then the bruise on her temple that is "hard to see in this lighting." It just all seems so contrived and fake.

The BBC subtly pushing one litigant over the over.

The BBC has a history of being so tilted to one side in its coverage that I’m surprised it doesn’t fall over.
This is an organization which had people sobbing on the air when Arafat died.

I don’t know what the BBC headlines were when Depp was testifying, but those headlines are just saying what happened today. The internet was blanketed with headlines stating Depp’s allegations while he was on the stand. She was on the stand under direct examination. It’s all going to sound in her favor right now. All of her questions and answers were designed to sound that way.

A man should never find himself in a place he feels the need to strike a woman

I think it's that Depp's picture looks like he's throwing a punch

Yeah I didn’t even catch that. I guess so.
But you’re not going to see any big media outlets attacking Heard for that testimony. Nobody is going to touch that. They’re too afraid to attack a crying female claiming to be a serial abuse victim.
The negative Heard headlines should come back during cross though.

As funny as that would be, I think she’s just plugging one side to blow out the other.

there's also another video going around the Twitter-sphere of Amber during 1 of her dry-sobbing fits where it looks like she clearly stops to pose for a picture
I'm skeptical b/c there's no way the judge doesn't call out someone for flash photography in the court during proceedings

Also... I missed Depp's top guy getting excited over Heard bringing up Kate Moss... possibly another open door to bringing up Heard's previous DV charge

Heard should be suing her acting coach.

Can’t sue a coach if the kid won’t listen.
You think Ben Simmons can sue the shooting coaches he worked with because he is to mentally fragile to attempt a 3?

I think everyone has this perception of her already. It would be different if we were hearing this without already knowing she has a history of lying, cheating, extorting, etc. So every word is dissected. Every movement, tone, facial expression, change in body language, etc is dissected. It’s human nature.
It’s really hard to put those things aside and try to actually listen to her. But I think that’s important. I try to just listen to what she says. I actually give her the benefit of the doubt. I think that’s what the jury should be doing. After hearing all sides of the case, then you look back and factor in all pieces. But I really try to listen to her and give her the benefit of the doubt.
I did that yesterday. She started out strong. The first half was actually really good. And while I don’t put anything into it, you have to account for the fact that the jury could possibly be watching Depp’s reactions. Reactions can be perceived a certain way. So when Heard hit a high point imo of her testimony, Depp had a reaction in his face that could be perceived as guilt or sadness. Do I think that’s what it was? I have no idea. It’s not about what I think. It’s the jury. Could the jury perceive it a certain way that is negative for Depp? Yes. I think she nailed this aspect of her testimony.
However, the second half of her testimony was a complete joke. Her photos were laughable. Depp’s reactions were under control. Even sometimes having a “really?” look to him. (Which I think he needs to show at times. Not all the time. Then you cross over into looking cocky. But a little bit is good. He should NEVER look sad.) Her story went completely off the rails and turned incoherent at times. Impossible to follow. It was an epic fail.
Overall, I think she ruined whatever good she did in her testimony yesterday towards the end. I think she overplayed her hand. She felt the momentum of the first half and thought she could go on these incoherent rants and the jury would be engaged. I think she failed. It became rambling nonsense coupled with laughable photos. And Depp had control of his reactions.
Man I can’t wait for cross
. I think her condescending, vengeful side is going to come out a little bit. I don’t think she can help it.

Is she testifying today, and if so, could someone please post a link?
Appreciate it.

Thanks. I keep searching for a live link but every one that I find is actually “live” from a previous day. I can’t find the live feed for today.

No testimony today, it is the day for motions to be filed or heard.
No testimony next week due to the judge being off.
