Does anyone really think the jury isn't going to see or read about this during that break?
First I've seen where each side is allotted time other than for opening or closing arguments.

More than you think. Jurors tend to take things pretty seriously.
But some will sneak peeks. And others will just pick up things through hearing people talk.
