That's not celebrating. That's participating.

Celebrating is getting shitfaced drunk on a children's holiday and passing out in the middle of Decatur St. at 4:20am November 1st. America killers.

Good in theory, bad in practice.

France has certain times of the years where large chunks of the population take off a month for vacation.

The problem with this is that it doesn’t adjust for outside events. Like doctors all being on vacation for a month on the Riviera while a heatwave is going on and old people are dying in droves.

Place is a shadow of what it once was. Just shows the greats don't stay great.

July 5th should be a holiday as well

We had a judge here who would set a hearing/motion day on the first work day after any three day holiday (for that matter, he'd set it the day after Christmas, New Years and Thanksgiving too).

I think he worked for a judge or is an attorney where a former judge would schedule important legal shite on a Tuesday after Labor Day or Memorial Day for example.

The implication is that the judge did it on purpose and may be from that generation that gets antsy and full of guilt if they are away from work for more than 2 days.

It's you, not Chin this time. Although he's definitely a retard.

I always schedule mine and kids dental cleanings for Nov 1 way in advanced so I have an excuse to take the day off.

I'm fine with any holiday

That said, the "like, Halloween is my totally favorite holiday!" adults are just weirdos.

Do adults celebrate Halloween? I didn’t realize they did.

Kind of like - do adults have time to browse Facebook on a daily basis? Why?
