So, they are basically saying they don’t want anyone to move in unless you are black?

Isn’t that discrimination?

That is the same as 'gentrification"

White folks move out and black folks move in it is called diversity and celebrated, the evil white folks move back in and it is gentrification that needs to be stopped.

The city makes 900 million a year off of new Orleans black Indian culture?

they fear newcomers and gentrification

Where was the sensitivity towards the existing working class neighborhood framework and traditions when the blacks initially moved in? They were the newcomers in a lot of neighborhoods at one point.

That goes for everyone really. At some point it’s likely that you and yours were the newcomers in your neighborhood.

Learn to accept the cold, hard fact that all neighborhoods change. Some for the better, some for the worse. Get out in front of it and try to own and care for your home or be prepared to move.

No idea where that number comes from. The city I'm assuming means the residents and business owners

Mardi gras bring a in a bunch

quote:

A new study on the economic value of the 2014 Mardi Gras season showed a total contribution to the New Orleans economy of $465 million, with a total of $17.5 million in tax revenues going to local government entities

So millions of people over a 2 week period nonstop spending money accounts for about half of her mystery number.

If the white collar jobs hand not abandoned New Orleans in the 1980s, things would be so much better now.

It’s basically a map dot or little consequence when it comes to college graduates in most fields. The jobs just aren’t there. If they were, the city’s population wouldn’t be half of what it was in 1960.

You don’t see Rex or Zulu for that matter bitching about their culture being stolen. Take care of your traditions and pass them down if you want to keep it going. Pretty self explanatory
