Mine was $350 back in 2003.
It hasn't seen the outside of my lockbox in about 15 years aside from "oooh neat it's still there" and "it only fits my pinky now, boo".

Will try my hardest to convince my kid how dumb Graduation rings and letterman jackets are.
The more you push the harder they'll push back.
I think mine was about $300. Wore it for a while senior year and that's it. Only time I might wear it again is class reunions.
Definitely a waste of money, if my kid goes to the same high school I think it'd be cool to pass it down but other than that it's an expensive paper weight.

I laughed at the ring guy in high school. Asked for a guitar instead.
Got the guitar, its still played 20 years later

Think mine cost $80 in 1997. Stainless steel with fake stone. Pointless to spend a wad of cash on something you probably won’t even put on after senior year.

HS Class of ‘68 here - paid $35.00 for mine. About 20 years ago, just for giggles, I had it appraised = $150.00 ! Who knew ?

I always thought HS graduation rings were ridiculous. Congrats on doing the bare minimum!
No one wears them after HS anyway.

Those things are a total waste of money. I wore mine once then never again. No idea where it even is at this point

No it isn't, only an idiot would believe this or exaggerate the cost in an attempt to improve an already shite post.

Quick visit to Balfour's site shows the cheapest advertised price is $259
No idea why anyone responds to wheels.

About to take a $700 lick for my daughter's (no pics, but she looks like this:
)
Thankfully, we didn't have to get one for my son (gave him mine).

What kind of trashy person gets a high school ring?
Posted on 10/30/19 at 11:21 am to OweO
unless he is not going on to college, high school grad rings are a huge waste of money. You will never wear it. College rings are different. At least people wear those.

I do not possess either a high school or college ring. Both times my parents gave me an option of getting something else as a gift for graduating instead of a class ring and both times I took them up on the offer. For high school, I got my mom to take me shopping for clothes and for college, my parents gave me a new set of golf clubs. I thought the trade off was a great decision in both cases.
