I think high school rings are kinda going out of style. Hardly any of my son’s friends showed any interest in them. And my wife, who works at the school, confirmed that most kids don’t order them now. Lettermen jackets are still a thing though, a very expensive thing.

I don’t know where my high school ring is.
I wear my LSU ring a good bit. Lots to work, formal events. I’m proud of it.

Will try my hardest to convince my kid how dumb Graduation rings and letterman jackets are.

My dad had a coniption fit over the price. Lost it my freshman year in college. Guess Dad knew it would happen.
Ordered college ring four years later... $85. Another coniption fit. Still have it but never wore it much.
Found dad's 1938 ring in his effects after he passed. Still have it. Guess his dad had a similar coniption fit way back then.

Cant remember what i spent on my high school graduation ring, probably a couple hundred bucks, which was a lot 20 yrs ago.. but i lost it two weeks after getting it, never to be seen again.

Wow, they’ve gone up considerably. I paid a little over $300 for mine, and it was gold. Of course, gold wasn’t so expensive back in the 90’s.
