That's really high even in today's world. You can likely get one for a reasonable price at your local grocery stores that have floral departments.

That’s what I was thinking, too. I’m going to suggest that next year.

Mrs FCP ended up buying silk flower corsages instead. Bought them online for significantly less than buying fresh locally.

No way your kid's date is letting him get away with that.

That's what I was about to say! I cannot imagine (actually I can LOL) my daughter's reaction, if after the dress, shoes, hair, makeup, nails, etc. some bozo showed up at our door with a FAKE corsage! Please don't do that to your son.

Just go to the grocery store and get a little inexpensive bouquet and tie a ribbon around it. Carnations are like $5.00.

That’s insanely high. Just got one last weekend for my Grandmother who was attending a wedding and it was only $30.

Today is different since the dance is tonight, but in general, wife doesn’t price shop- she just orders and pays whatever. She’s also the type that takes every medical, vet and dental recommendation without questioning what it’s actually for and if it’s necessary or ‘recommended’. Bless her heart

$81 for a fricking flower? Why are we still doing this bullshite??? My wife thinks I’m being ridiculous because ‘that’s just what they cost’.

Thank goodness Kamala is going to end all this price gouging with her iron fist.

I would say I'm raising a daughter with standards. Why would a boy ask a girl to a dance and then show up at the door with fake flowers?

Sorry, wanting tad bit of effort doesn't make a woman entitled, especially when every grocery store has beautiful flowers for cheap.
