How do they get away with consistently being 35-45 cents higher for a gallon of gas. They are at $2.59 a gallon today. I'm pretty sure the location has something to do with it. Thought one of you OT ballers would have some insight!

Because people will consistently pay it.

Because Bocage trophy wives are stupid and lazy

It's convenience. Plus they keep up property and pumps.

They are very proud of their gas.

The chevron on Tchoupitoulas does the same thing.

If you're talking about the one across from Panera I've wondered the same thing. Even the stuff inside (tobacco, drinks, etc.) is more expensive. I get a roll of Skoal from B-quik for like $19 and it's easily $27 at that Chevron.
But as others have said, it's Bocage.. people will pay for it in that location. I live near there and I'll just go down to the Circle K to fill up.

Great selection of champagnes.

Too bad that Popeyes closed. Is Kolache Kitchen making any money there?

That was the cleanest Popeyes in town and they rarely screwed up an order. A true unicorn.

I agree that it is capitalism and they are doing their thing. However- why do people cause an uproar about gouging prices and this doesn't get more scrutiny. I refuse to buy from their because their price is high. However if after a storm the local Chevron goes to that exact price they would be blasted for gouging, when that is still capitalism at work.

Because Bocage wants to pay more for gas if it keeps you poors out of their part of town.

I live near there and have only bought gas there once. I was running on empty and just got a few gallons to get me through the day.
IIRC when gas prices were at their highest they were the first station in town to break the $4.00/gallon mark.

Texaco on Millerville is the same way and it's always packed at the pumps.

They probably do not move enough gas and do not have the buying power to get it cheaper. Most convience stores give away gas to get you inside to buy sodas. beer, coffee, tobacco, etc to make money.

Because it's probably privately owned
