That seems fine to me.

I don't think it's stealing, either. If the cable company won't regulate how many screens or users or what approved users can utilize their services on a single account, that's not my problem.
Like I said, I even offered to help my friend pay some of his cable bill and he declined.

Also, I have like 10 friends that use my Uverse account info for HBO Go and Showtime.

The stealing part is an offshoot of the original topic. What will you do when Mom and Dad don't have those things any more? Will you keep enabling the cable companies to gouge, or go in for some kind of bogus collectivism deal that is sketchy at best, and illegal at worst?

if you take a cab from downtown chicago to the airport, and you share it with your friend. You have to pay the fare for each person in the cab. If you were to lie to the cabbie, would that be stealing?

Come on. It's a clear violation of the T&C for those outside of the subscriber household to use these services. Everybody knows it is. I'm no moralist, just find it funny how many have a hard time admitting it.

It evens out once you realize how much of a monopoly they have in areas where more competition would mean a better product and thus more consumers.. I have zero sympathy for any corporation that gets karma for being huge welfare beneficiaries and screwing taxpayers

All cord cutters talk about how much money they save but if you really dig into it the savings do not exist unless they are stealing from Netflix, HBOGo, or Hulu.
If you really look at how much it would costs to really cut the cord and not steal then you would actually see that cable is a bargain plus it is convenient and you get DVR. Plus, you get channels you wouldn't pay for a la cart but do watch and a good bit without realizing.

even if I paid for Sling, or watched every game at a bar, I would end up ahead. Now if I paid to watch the movies, it would get a bit dicier but in general I would still be ahead as I would just wait a few weeks and redbox it.
