I bet you report people in your office for taking office pens home.

Oh really...Please do explain.
Game of Thrones is on a premium channel that is paid for even beyond cable. Agents of Shield is over the air.

I make The Skirts bring their own pens.

Pfffffff. Who has a family anymore?

If you went to the bar everytime to watch games wouldn't those costs add up? Wouldn't you potentially spend more there in food/drink costs than you would for cable?
Again...a lot of hoops to jump through to supposedly save money.

i am not a millennial. And I do not have a family. So I cannot answer that question.
If I did have a family, I would move to NOLA to be near family and just go over to their house to watch LSU games.

So many negatiers working for Cox in this thread.

not really
my parents are paying for the service and not using it
I'm using it. My parents are paying for me to use the service.
not stealing

Cox is a really shitty company. Someone should raise the money to start a competitor and put them out. I have U-Verse, and it pretty much sucks too. But I'm not going to start stealing because of it. I also think light, gas and water companies are shite. I'm not pirating electricity from my neighbors though.

I definitely don't work for Cox. I used to audit financials of a few tech and cable companies throughout the country, so I was able to understand from a financial standpoint how all of this breaks down behind the scenes.
I'm just more baffled by the amount of people that justify stealing because it's big corporate, so it's okay. Hell, at least have the balls to say I understand, I'm stealing, and I don't care.

If I eat and drink at home I don't add that cost to my cable budget

still be cheaper than cable, and I would get beer/food.
I watch probably 6-8 games a year. Even at $30/game (4 beers and a sammich) that is like 2 months of cable.
And i probably would do this for a game or two anyway.

My personal experience is that the cable box with Uverse was WAY better designed but the internet with Cox was more reliable.
I'm currently doing the Apple TV thing with HBOgo and Netflix subscriptions. Its working pretty well for me. My only complaint is that I can't get sports right away at my place

See...that was easy. I have nothing left here

although I really don't see it as stealing because someone is paying for the service, not using it, and just letting me use it
that isn't really stealing in my book
but I don't really care either way
I sleep just fine at night
