People voted for this tax? Wtf

It passed 51-49% before most of their nonsense came to light, but that's supposed to now represent some overwhelming public mandate that no one should dare question.

Clark-Amar's annual salary is $101,238, but the presentation showed the national midrange salary for someone in her position is $180,198.

The fact that she still has that job is ridiculous. The fact that she's setting herself up for a near 80% raise should be criminal.

And then she wants to push off more of her duties to someone else

Clark-Amar also hopes to hire a chief administrative officer to help run the Council on Aging, and said her chief operations officer is overextended. The CAO would be another executive level position at a high pay level.

The people who voted for Frieberg and Loupe should be the ones who are the most pissed off. It’s thanks to these two idiots that Tarsha and her gang of thieves got the full millage of the tax. Loupe was “sick” the night of the vote and Frieberg caved under the threat of a lawsuit by angry blacks.

Was frieberg the one that went to the bathroom because she couldn't handle the situation and needed to "compose herself" for the vote, only to miss the vote entirely?

shite like this is why I don’t support taxes of any kind. This tax, gas taxes, revenue for TOPs or higher ed- it’s all just a bunch of shite peddled by crooks so they can line their pockets.

I have Loupe on my hit list.

He has ducked many a controversial vote.

He voted to put the tax on the ballot.

I really really hope Jeff Landry’s office is crossing all the Ts and dotting all the Is on a future action against this whole organization. Hopefully they are trying to connect as many of these thieves as possible to the case.

One can dream, can’t they?
