They're supposedly about to roll out a new menu,
Didn't they just do that like 6 months ago?

The (2) times I went there, they had shite for inventory and ran out of pretty much any decent liquor. And that was with like 10 ppl in the bar, post home LSU game.
The only reason I even went was bc bogies was stupid packed. How do you run out of jack, crown etc on a Lsu home game night.

Nope. He snatched a couple fake IDs from me back in the day but we eventually became boys because I was such a regular

I know who you're talking about, but I think he was talking about JJ not JN

lve never seen a DJ at barcadia outside of karaoke, and their prices are dirt cheap compared to other places around town, and I've never seen them charge a cover either
I go a lot and have never experienced any of that.

I went several nights about a year or 2 ago, usually between bands while seeing shows at The Varsity. Every time I tried to go in, they had a DJ at a booth blasting hip/hop and at least a $10 cover. One time, they did have kareoke going because some tone-deaf sorority girls kept screaming "We're never ever evaaaaaaaaah! Getting back togethah!!!"

I was so excited to see serrano's kick the bucket. Now I actually miss their fish tacos, velveeta queso, and post game atmosphere compared to Barcadia
On top of their pretty terrible food, their drink specials blow. I hope it turns the corner, but I haven't been since a baw I knew was a bartender there. There's just so many better dining options for the same price and better drink options/prices

Barcadia hyping up "rolling out a new menu" is hilarious to me. How many people are excited about new bar menu at fricking Barcadia? Maybe 1 excluding the employees

Went a few times when it first opened and had fun with all the games. My buddy went last week and said they got rid of a ton of the games they used to have though

Wasn't The Bandit originally built in 2002 or 2003 as a pool hall type place? Seem to recall that.

Someone on here should buy it and turn it into a music venue/bar called the OT Lounge. Have drinks named after famous posters, have signed pictures of people's Avis on the wall. If they have a kitchen, they could allow different Foodboard posters to come in as pop-up chefs.
Make it a thing.

A Mexican restaurant would be nice there.

I'm a fan of barcadia. Barcadias happy hour is pretty sweet, $1 16oz draft of shocktop, bud Light, or coors light. Half off appetizers. I like going there once every couple months.

Yea, it was originally a Rickochet's when I was there. I never understood why they shut it down, that placed was always packed! It gave something different than the usual Tigerland bar scene.

I won a handful of Holdem tournaments at that place.
