Tonight was the last night they'll be in business. Short run.

Seems dumb to close right before school starts.

Their music was always way too loud. You expect it to be loud at a bar but it was always stupid loud.

Shades was the younger bogies when I was around, not a doubt some idiot college grads will buy out the place and try to run a bar

I'm shocked it took this long. We had an exchange there once and as soon as 11PM hit, everyone bolted for Bogie's and not a soul was heading for The Bandit. It was always empty. They need to put a Whataburger there.

I think a legitimate bar/restaurant could do well there, something with a hook or good gimmick. Almaza has been there forever it seems like, and unless they're laundering heroin money, I tend to think it's because they have a solid customer base. That spot doesn't work for a tigetland-style wannabe-club bar, since Bogies is right next door and a much more attractive venue. Something like barcadia would work there maybe, but that space and location is really best suited for a commercial enterprise, maybe a kinkos type operation.

Nothing will work there. Maybe a Bud's Broiler.

Man I remember when that place was Dublin's. Pretty authentic Irish pub.

Barcadia doesn't work in the north gate area let alone right there.

Barcadia is one of the best bars in BR but they can't even get people to that place for some reason

know the owner. He will be alright but I do think he got dealt a bad hand. however that spot hasnt been friendly to owners. might just be bad location.
