Wife did the Means diet lost 40 pounds in 6 months at 60 years old, no exercise. Just eliminated all junk. Cost a fortune though eating healthy isn’t cheap. But it can be done easier than most people think.

I’m exactly 5’3” and that’s at least 20 lbs too high for me. I also have bones the size of matchsticks, though. Maintaining my weight has been more of a battle in the last few years (thank you, Post-40 Metabolism), but I’ve still managed to keep it between 98-103 without doing anything crazy.
Part of that is due to having such a small frame—tiny bones are less forgiving, so I quickly start feeling uncomfortable at just a few lbs over the top end of that range. My clothes don’t fit right, I have less agility, I get winded more easily, etc. And of course those things tend to compound and exacerbate the entire situation, so I try to course correct early.
I truly can’t imagine how awful it would be with 70+ more lbs. That’s almost a whole other me. And even if you’re of sturdier stock than I am, there’s no way carrying another 40-50% (at minimum!) of extra weight on your back every day wouldn’t negatively affect your health or quality of life.

Bobby K, Jr needs to go out on sweeps with ICE. While they're catching illegals, he should be rounding up the fat bodies for the camps.

Shall I go on?

A lot of the same people who are disgusted by obesity are critical of Ozempic, Wegovy, etc. I’m over middle aged and can still see some abs and run competitively in my age group but I also realize not everyone has the discipline to stay in shape. Eventually, we just need to replace fluoride with Ozempic in tap water.

Anyone with critical thinking skills can understand why….. which is why almost no one on this board does

Please turn this into an OT, BMI conversation! The OT has the highest percentage of NFL caliber athletes based off past BMI discussions.
"Yeah I'm fat but not that fat" or "If I lost 50 pounds I'd look like a concentration camp survivor!" both said by a guy admitting he was 5'11 250
One of the biggest problems with obesity isn't even the 350 pound "model" pushing body positivity, it's the average person that knows they're not in the best shape but does not realize (or refuses to) just how fat they are

Here in Trinidad
We want to know, it’s always Trinidad this, Trinidad that; you guys ALWAYS come first.
Mrs Füt (no pics) & I both have BMIs under 22.
None of our siblings, parents, or in-laws are/were fatties but only two of them (out of 22 individuals) were/are in as good shape now or when they were our present age.
Our kids and their spouses are all in good to excellent shape.
So probably some combination of learned and genetic factors.

You’re probably not wrong here. Its all relative but is sad AF if those people consider any high school PE class a hard workout

My first wife was 5-2 x 106 when we married. She looked very normal at that weight. that was the norm back in the day.
She's still around 110.
