I will never have a car loan I am paying 644 dollars a month on.

Never say never. When we traded in my car 12 years ago $200 was my hard limit.

When we traded in my wife's car 3 years ago $300 was our hard limit.

Who knows what I'll say 10 years when my car's time is up again.

In this case I can assure you I will never pay 600 a month on a car note.

Keeping up with the Joneses mindset is like a tax on the financial illiterate.

The 'don't give 2 chits what others think' is a much better financial health deal for America

Not shocking at all- that’s equates to $44k - considering new cars are basically all $60k now

That equates to $40,000 financed for 72 months at 5% you end up paying 46k for it with interest.

That is if you don't roll over the 30k you still owe on it on your next vehicle in two years lol

This is such an overused narrative. I don’t know a single person who overextended themselves financially because they were doing it for what others thought. Everyone I know that has nice shite has it because they like nice shite.

a lot of people could pay their vehicles off cash in hand but thanks to our government giving out extremely cheap cash people are taking out bigger and longer loans

needless to say no one has to go into car debt

The guy had to have the money to buy a piece of property and I could not raise the cash in time... I was going to try and pay cash for half and finance the rest...

<——Has had a Company vehicle with fuel since 1995

The value of that has got to be at least $10,000.00 per year.

27 years x $10,000/year = $270k x 1.3 (tax bracket) = $350k

Sweet!

I have financed 4 vehicles in the last 6 years at 0% interest at 48mo. Why wouldn’t I finance it if they are giving me a free loan?

Wealthy people don’t finance much. Especially things that depreciate faster than Jamie Lynn Spears career after her SNL lip sync fiasco.

That was Ashlee Simpson, dumbass. Jamie Lynn retired because she was raped by Dan Schneider, impregnated, and refused to abort the baby. Way different circumstances.
