That, my friend is excellent nutrition for your eyes.

Also C60 has also improved my eyesight where my last contact prescription less and I don’t wear my glasses unless driving.

Most people though aren’t curious enough to look for answers but they are out there.

I got aging eye condition at about 32 and started with glasses. I'm older by some decades now. To see Netflix shows on my 75 inch Samsung I had to start wearing prism lenses. Good thing the eye doctors can diagnose and fix this stuff. With glasses in my case.

I got LASIK to correct nearsightedness. Had to sign off on a warning that it would actually make me more likely to need readers by 40.

They can laser one eye (monovision) to correct it for reading. I do the same with a single contact lens.

I don't mind using readers when sitting at a computer, but I hate needing them in on/off situations like shopping (to read labels and lists), to check my phone, looking at a menu at lunch, to see car display screen clearly, etc.

The single contact works really well. It costs less than a buck a day for disposables. Try a few brands to find the most comfortable; my optical lady gave me a few sample packs.

Acuvue TruEye with Hydraclear is the best for me.

That sounds pretty young to be age related deterioration. I'm not an eye doctor, FWIW.

It's not terribly young. Usually happens at 40. But I've spent a lot of time looking at a computer screen.

I actually found a pretty good site with the current lay of the land for surgical options. I may look into one of these.

Macular degeneration and presbyopia are two different things.

I’m 45 and started wearing readers this year working on my model trains and RC cars. My vision went to poop in a hurry :(

Man, tough crowd tonite!

I hit 40 and joined the readers crowd too. That's about the age.

As someone else said, you can get one contact for reading and wear it all the time. Or have one eye lazered for reading and leave the other for seeing distance.

That's called monovision. My eye doctor told me women deal better with it than men.

So you have options. And readers are cheap at Costco.

So, your basic question is: ‘Why can’t I stay 27 and live forever.’

Very original. I’ll bet that’s the first time such an idea has been contemplated in all of human history...

I had the eyes of a cat and woke up one morning to discover I could not read the newspaper .... overnight. Did the readers for awhile and got prescription glasses. Do yourself a favor & do the same ASAP.

I’m intrigued, and not just for the eyesight. Your link is to their website, though. Are there objective studies out there? Or even anecdotal reviews by people not affiliated with the company?

I’m like most of you. Realized at 25 that using 1.00 readers was helpful, but didn’t wear really wear them much at all. Hit 40/41, and all of a sudden I couldn’t focus on anything in small print for longer than 30 seconds. Freaked me out a couple of times because I couldn’t make out directions on OTC products for my kids.

Now 42, I’m rocking 3.25s and have to slide em down toward the bottom of my nose so I can look up and see the tv. Somehow, overnight, I have become my father.
