The abysmal state of Celebration Station

I was having a bout of nostalgia reflecting on my youth, so I decided to go and hit a few balls in the batting cages at Celebration Station last weekend, and I was utterly shocked that after all these years and multiple price hikes they haven't remodeled a single thing in that place. They even still have the same hand dryer in the restroom that they had like 13 years ago. I get the concept of maximizing returns, but I've never patronized an establishment that took the saying, "a little bit goes a long way" so literally.

I haven't driven past Celebration Station in at least 5 years. I'm utterly stunned that it's still in business
ETA: Nevermind I see it's a different one

If you're talking about the one off Airline Hwy, it's still the only decent putt putt in BR. Don Carters or whatever it's called these days opened up putt putt but it's a little too cramped.

Grand cinema is the only place I'll go to watch a movie nowadays

I went there about 10 years ago and noticed how decrepit and dated it looked. Can't imagine what it looks like now.

Took my daughter to play putt putt last week. Fine young "entrepreneur" behind the outside counter said he'd only charge us $5 each to play, "ya heard me" then pocketed the cash right in front of us. No clue why the place isn't making money with the talent they have working there.

If it still blows air, I don't see a problem.

These places can't all be The Kart Ranch in Lafayette. Almost 30 years old and still going strong. They still even have commercials for it. Gotta praise their longevity in this constantly changing climate.

I miss Fun Fair Park.
That place was my sanctuary as a child. Tilt a whirl until I puked.

If it ain't broke, why fix it?
So to be clear, you're upset because you had to use a fully functional hand dryer that was old?
