3I/ATLAS broke Togerdroppings today. It came from out of our system, all the way over here... Just to try and get rid of Tigerdroppings.
Thanks to Chicken for our amazing defense system to survive this attack. Now the world can find out the truth about Aliens here.

The disgraced Harvard professor that's been making a bug fuss about this predicted the same thing with the other two interstellar objects before this one.

If by that you mean he predicted it to moist likely be NOT aliens, and just a comet? Then yes , yes he did.
Mr Loeb has simply been arguing that it is in our best interest to pay more attention to such things in the off-chance they are artificial, which given the size of our universe, is possible.

Pretty much what he said. Whynwouldnt we want to go check it out if we can?

Listened to Loeb on JRE. Well reasoned and don’t have a problem with anything he said.
Gotta keep in mind that the academics that have a problem with the guy are the same ‘experts’ that brought us Covid.

Talking about the herd mentality in academia.
Where anybody that puts a toe off the reservation is come after.
Weinstein always talking about this same issue.
Covid used as an example of them destroying the minority opinion.

3I/ATLAS is not showing a visible tail in the latest images taken by the R. Naves Observatory in Spain on November 5. This is one of the few photos that we have of the interstellar comet since perihelion at the end of October.

It’s amazing that NASA still hasn’t released info from the Mars flyby.

it's a comet.
follow non-click bait but actual observers and they will all say it.
it's a fun story, and i'm sure the government is enjoying any distraction they can with it. but it's an extra-solar comet. that's it.

Looks like a screen shot from an early 80s video game.

That’s what they want you to think.

Loeb is trying to have his cake and eat it too. He knows what he’s doing - muddying the waters by mixing speculative clickbait with somewhat reasonable scientific analysis. Check out the title of his book about Oumuamua:
I’m sure his own statements then were along the lines of “there’s a possibility that it’s aliens,” just like today. But when you publish a book titled “Extraterrestrial: The First Sign of Intelligent Life Beyond Earth,” it’s pretty clear what you want people to believe.
So with 3I/ATLAS, he knows exactly what he’s doing when he says stuff like this:
quote:
"The retrograde orbital plane of 3I/ATLAS around the Sun lies within 5 degrees of that of Earth... The likelihood for that coincidence out of all random orientations is 0.2 percent," Loeb told Newsweek.
This is at the same time that his own papers say that 3I/ATLAS is most likely not of alien origin. But of course, that’s not in the Newsweek article. Just a note about how Loeb “emphasizes that it remains a hypothesis.” I’m sure they just left that part of the interview out.
“He’s just saying we need to study it!” bullshite. As if the scientific community needed any more reason to study an extrasolar comet. It’s the scientific equivalent of fishing for Twitter mentions (actually I suppose that’s part of it) and people like TutHillTiger eat that shite up.
Loeb is also trying to raise $100 million in funding for his own pet project to look for aliens, so he certainly stands to benefit from the headlines.

New telescope observations revealed streams of gas and dust, called jets, blasting out in rhythmic bursts every 16.16 hours precisely, much like a steady heartbeat. Moreover, this pulsing makes the object's overall glow brighten and dim by 20 to 40 percent in a clean, repeating cycle, which some have claimed suggest 3I/ATLAS is not a naturally-occurring comet.

Does Old Faithful have a heartbeat ? Isn’t this just release of internal pressure built up over a certain time ?

These people believe all sorts of crap.
