Why the hell is Rayne #3? I would have put Crowley on that list. Total shithole.

have no idea how Ponchatoula made #1. I've never known it to be THAT bad.

Bogalusa on the other hand is a true shithole and we'll deserved of it's top 5 finish. Hammond is coming on strong though.

I don't see how any of them are top ten bad. Even Bogalusa.

Love how marksville always lands on this list when other places in avoyelles like bunkie (no offense ham) and simmesport are worse

BogalUSA has been the champ of this list since well before 2017.

The Top 10 Worst places you listed don't match the link you provided which has Bogalusa as the worst place in Louisiana.

Bc I posted the link 7 years ago

It’s since been updated to 2024

Shreveport > BR

Currently working in Shreveport and living in a hotel during the week. Other than being further away from LSU and not having good boudin close by, this is a true statement. Down vote away

The median income in Youngsville is almost $105K. What kind of jobs do these people have? O&G engineers?

This can be done by almost any household that have 2 working adults in their mid 30’s-50’s. You’re not able to accomplish this, you’re doing something’s wrong

How is Natchitoches one of the 15 worst places in the state to live? I call shenanigans.

I work between Shreveport, Natchitoches, and Alexandria. If you scratch the surface in Natchitoches and get past the historical parts, it’s a pretty violent and poor place. Outside of tourism, retail, and medical, there’s not much going on in Natchitoches. And I absolutely love being in Natchitoches

Doesn’t look like it driving through, but there’s a lot of people that live on the north side of town

For all the hating from the East side of AP, there's no difference in crime rate between Dville and Gonzales.

Dville unemployment was second highest on the list at 16.1%
