Cut them some slack. I'm sure they are not happy having to pay to be there today. My transplant team wanted me to stay. Wasn't going to happen due to people like you that don't want to do shite just because it's a holiday.

My brother was on a transplant team early in his career. No matter what hour or what holiday, if an appropriate match was available, they were doing their thing.

Hope you get that new heart soon. I know you've been waiting a long time, but I guess there have just been others who are in worse condition than you.

Grandma won't drop the rutabaga issue. Said when she finds out who brought it they're getting cut from the will

I miss the big Thanksgiving get togethers even if there was a little strife. The only males left in my family are me and my son. Our gathering today has only 9 people.

Thanksgiving does suck when your in law school.

Yeah, but I’m blessed to still be able to live at home during law school, so I still get to be with my family today. So, things could be far worse.

Parents subjected me to Fox News from 7 - 11. Step mom says Hillary is the real turkey and that's not up for debate. I've had 2 stiff bloody marys. About to go to a restaurant for early dinner. I'll have to go get my 14 year old daughter out of her room that she has been barricaded in all day.

Stayed home this year. Been me, wife, and kids all day. Dad and his wife coming over in a bit.

It's been the most peaceful Thanksgiving of my life. Which has a few cons, but mostly a lot of pros.
