So far my kid and dogs have received presents like its Christmas and I had a good dinner.

Update before bedtime:
My family got here and all was pretty smooth. Initial reports were that cousin and stripper were not coming.
Therefore, all of his kids are here (2 hours late) and visiting with family. I went up to hug the kids and the 17 year old kid winced in pain and pulled away.
Turns out they were late because they stopped at a tattoo shop on the way and he got his nipples pierced. My cousins exwife (kids mom) had to stay for a few hours because she was too drunk to drive back home. She lost her keys and I was out at her car trying to help her find them and the back seat is littered with (scouts honor) empty Pabst blue ribbon cans. It’s like a white trash scene from Joe Dirt.
Anyway, she sobered up and left about 30 mins ago while complaining that she would have had time to drive back home before her buzz kicked in if “my a-hole son did not have to get his titties pierced like some fagg*t”. Now, she is mad because everyone will assume she is a drunk and she does not feel welcome anymore at Thanksgiving.
My cousin has plans to arrive in the morning but his kids say they are not going to stay. His oldest daughter said “If that stripper shows up, she is gonna catch these hands”.
All seems calm tonight but I hope my cousin sleeps in and does not come. The turkey dinner will go smoothly in that case.
I know all of you are secretly hoping that he shows up early and this thing ends with someone going to jail.

Update: officialy missed my flight from New Orleans to Miami. frick American Airlines. Got to bagge check in 43 minutes before the flight when the cutoff is 45. Gave us very little information and then handed us a ticket to Miami with a layover in Charlotte. (Original flight was direct.) Instead of being in Miami for 9:30, we'll be there at 1.
Hopefully there will be no other issues. We had a reservation for Thanksgiving brunch at a restaurant but now way we make it now. Oh well. Happy Thanksgiving!

Breakfast tidbits:
My hope (and fear) that I am going to leave you guys with OT blue balls is now possible. My cousin was supposed to text me BEFORE he left Atlanta to come here. He has not texted yet. I am thinking he won’t show.
The women are all in the kitchen getting brunch ready and gossiping about the topic of the day. (His choice of “winners” in the relationship department).
My almost 80 year old father has released his full “troll” side and is poking them with comments. My mom passed a few years back and she was the only one that kept him under some degree of control. Now, he has no reason not to entertain himself.
He (with the help of the nipple pierced cousins son) found the strippers Instagram page and is showing the women different photos of her dancing and one of her kissing another stripper with tongues.
The southern women have now been lathered up and my dad just dropped the comment of “I don’t know why you girls care if she comes here. Strippers are like Ketchup. They make everything better but no one wants to admit it”.
Audible gasp occurred and then no more words until we left the kitchen.
I just looked at him in the den and said “Dad..seriously?”
He just laughed and said “one day you will be my age and appreciate this”.
He is kinda right.

Got a lot planned today. Probably gonna lay in bed for some time. Probably gonna sit up in bed and watch a movie. May sit in my rolling chair and watch sports. Idk tons of options.
