If your wife was hot, he would have calmed down and not been a tool to a bunch of kids. She should hint that he is a pedo at the morning doughnut shuffle with the other neighborhood "average body types".
You need to stay in your own yard, assume the Captain Morgan stance and look sternly at him when he drives past. If it escalates, at least you are in your yard and will not be arrested.

I feel you about the guy coming on your property and yelling at your wife and kid. My first instinct would be to do the same thing.....But, you can't show that example to your kid.
The guy is a douche and there are many out there and more to come in his life. Move on, be happy and anytime you get a new car, boat, or anything cool drive slowly by the guys house and wave.

I learned there is two sides to every story.
They must have did something more than what you said to piss this guy off. Most people would have ignored them if it's just knocking on the door. In the Gehtto most people would have used the moment to let their pit bull out to find a new chew toy.
In today's society with teenagers breaking into people's cars and breaking into people's homes to steal things he is lucky he wasn't shot especially if he did it on a back door.

While I understand "kids will be kids", you might want to sit your kid down and discuss how this has gotten other kids his age killed, and it's not a good idea ever.

Dale you ever think that maybe your kid woke this guys baby up right after it finally went to sleep? Maybe your kid scared the shite out of your neighbors wife or interrupted the blow job your neighbor was about to get. I'd be pretty pissed if some snot nosed little pieces of shite were knocking on my door and annoying me, so I'd probably chew their arse too.
