Yep, 11 year old kids do stuff like that. Mature men would understand. Going off on them is a shitty thing to do.
No shite. Have some fun with them. That's what piss balloons are made for!!!!

Just went through this with my 10yo . Told him that they are some crazy people out their and some people don't see the humor in these pranks . Don't do it anymore or you will go door to door and apologize .

Hopefully, I cool off before Monday morning, because no man comes onto my property and does that to my family
That man did go on to your property and he did do that to your family. And guess what, you're not going to a DAMN thing about it Monday morning. Stop talking shite and go discipline your son.

How did he avoid arrest today exactly?

But your son can go onto his? And what did the guy do? Nothing really. There are consequences to your boy's actions. It's time he learned that without daddy puffing out his chest in his defense.

Use your stethoscope like a garrot.

Meh, don't sweat it. Dude was probably drunk and regrets it. And kids learned a lesson. All good.

Glad to see this still happens in neighborhoods.

Yep, I expect more common sense out of a grown man than I do a bunch of 11 year olds.
And I'm not a keyboard badass, but yes, I do feel I'd be able to handle my own against most men.
And it's a very nice neighborhood. We just moved in a couple of months ago. Between this and my dog getting out and causing havoc, we may not be living there much longer.

Have you decided what you're going to do?

I know some good places around Colombia to get rid of a body.

I'm not going to make a fool of myself. Like someone mentioned earlier, I plan on speaking to the guy, giving him my number to call with any problems, be as respectful as possible, and let him know that if he ever does something like that I again for something as simple as a kid knocking on his window, my next conversation with him won't be as nice.

Paul Allen, respect your North LA brethren.
Rebel, I was hoping you'd take him out for me. Memphis style.

If he was wanting to have my 11 year old son arrested for knocking on his window, I'm sure he'd have called LEO for some of the choice words I would have had for him.
Again, my son is being punished. Severely. But BY ME. Not some idiot that needs to prove his toughness by bowing up to women and children. The more I think about it, the more he sounds like the typical OTer.

If I had been the neighbor and seen the kids running away .... I would have laughed. End of story.

Exactly. Or I would have planned a prank to play back on them. If the guy would have even had the balls to talk to us as adults, I would have gladly told him to act like an idiot to scare the kids to learn a lesson. But he was 100% legitimately threatening a bunch of kids for knocking on his window. Makes absolutely no sense to me.
And for those wondering if my wife provoked him, she absolutely did not. She was fuming at my son for even doing it. But her anger quickly turned to the guy once it was apparent he was psychotic.

But kinda bored right now and thought you'd all like to hear about it. (Cue the "you're wrong" comments).
They pay you way too much to be sitting around bored while on the clock.

Real man would have taken a cigar break, handled him in less than 15 minutes and make it back.
