Those kids better man up if they are going to be true deviants.

Your kid was being a dick and you want to fight the guy for being angry. Kind of dumb

They knocked on some guy's dining room window and ran off. Apparently he saw them running down the street to my house. Guy gets in his truck and drives down the street to confront them, which is totally reasonable in my opinion.

Not reasonable IMO. Seriously? What kind of loser leaves his house, gets in his truck, to chase down some neighborhood kids for "ding dong ditching"?

Lots of trailers where you live?

Weird that neighbor got so mad. Weird that neighbor was so intent on confronting the kids. What's he gonna do--beat the kids up?

agreed...if he got that mad about them knocking and running off, imaging what he will do in a week or so when they roll the shite out of his house...

You basically admitted to raising a dumb arse kid. We never did that in daylight and we sure as hell never would have run straight home.

Damn, those were the days.

A serious reply:

I would wait a few days to cool off and go talk to him. I would give him my cell number and let him know to call ME if he ever has another problem out of my child. And in a subtle way let him know to never come back and act like that in front of my wife and kids.

What did he say to your wife? What did she say to him? This is the most important part of the story.

I just love the comments from people who don't know who you are. It's almost like this post is a sweet troll job, even though I believe it to be true.

The mud checked comment was the funniest.

When I was 11, that would've bought that dude some flat tires and other fricked up shite around his house. I had issues.
