It seems like he doesn’t even know how to fix the monster he created.
Jack doesn't seem like a bad guy. It seems like his company was high jacked by a bunch of liberal children and the biden administration.
It also seems like he cares about the damage he's done and wants to make it right. I wouldn't blame him if he took his money and just retired.
This is a big win for Dorsey and his PR. I don't have a Twitter but I'll get one of the things on this new site when they run it.

It also gave us President Trump.
No. What gave us President Trump was the American people getting exhausted by the disingenuous sacks of shite like you in politics and the media.

Dorsey carrying that whole convo
Elon is not sure if he can trust him, and asking to talk. Dorsey must be quite embarrassed to see this released where he does not appear to be a woker who wants government control of social media.
It’s refreshing to see that Dorsey would support open source non for profit social media.

No President in history has ever used and benefited more from social media.
Donald Trump was to Twitter what John Kennedy was to television.

Genius technique by Musk. Dorsey clearly was chatty and Musk just responds each time with quick to the point thoughts

Member when people were clowning Elon thinking he was going to overpay? Good times.
He set the trap and the BOD fell face first into it

There’s also the question of whether any platform can truly be successful (as measured against the social media giants) without the invisible hand constantly maximizing screen time. The algorithms, the tedious attention to detail on the smallest GUI tweaks, the refinement of features to maximize overall engagement.. these things are incredibly difficult to replicate without a legit profit motive.
This is it in a nutshell. You don't even need a profit motive, just a break-even motive and that means money must be made somehow (even if it's just from having some sort of regular donations drive). If money is being made, it must be managed and that means some sort of hierarchical structure. The bigger the structure, the more likely you are to get people in who will eventually distort the original vision for the project.
The real trick is to get enough people involved who share the original vision and won't waver.
If truly free speech is the topic, you simply aren't going to find that by sticking with Silicon Valley.
