Piglets and shoats have very little gameyness almost indistinguishable from domestic pig. Even mature sows are pretty close. It's the boars that have a really strong "WTF" is this flavor to them.
I don't know the term shoat, and I'm not researching it to find out because everything else is accurate so I will believe that is too.

If she had a pit with her she’d have been protected

Sign,
Someone who has never pondered the idea you speak of but who revels in calling you a disgustingly dumb chit.
P.S. to answer the "taste" question: a nursing sow- not to be confused with the sky screamer above's whore mother- tastes as good as pork from the store. However killing her and getting her out and from the field to the table takes MUCH more work.

I’ve seen that Ted Nugent appearance on JRE too. Nice regurgitation. Get a napkin.

Shot this one in September and the straps were great.

Arkansas was bound to get a win eventually.

Would a smoker help? Only way I like wild turkey.

I live off of this highway. Happened a couple miles down the road. Pretty crazy stuff. Neighbor seems to think it was a pack of dogs but the sherif thinks the dogs ran the hogs off.
Which means the real story is that the sheriff's dogs killed the lady.

So for someone that’s not a hunter or knows very little about hogs, I understand that the wild hog population has grown significantly in size in recent years here regionally. An insane amount of hogs everywhere. (Actually saw one on the side of 171 in Lake Charles where hogs shouldn’t be).
What’s caused this uptick in hogs running around? Why all of the sudden is this an issue? I know these things are dangerous, so what’s the problem?

They breed like rats and with the help of trailers moving them around to farms they have gotten out of control.
I’m doing my part to keep them in check.
Killed 8 in 4 days but saw over 100 destroying wheat fields in San Saba last weekend.

A couple weeks ago I shot one of these wild Russian boars up in East Feliciana Parish that was about 250 pounds. When we walked walked up to the cage it slammed the end and it was everything that cage could do not to come apart. It had 3 1/2 to 4 inch long razor-sharp tusk that would rip you from your ankle to your a-hole.
I played in those woods a kid most of the time without a gun. Today you would never catch me in these words out of firearm because of those hogs. Even the 2 little ones that were caught in another cage were trying To come out the cage and attacking
frick those hogs and you and anyone else that has a problem with obliterating them

It would be incredibly apparent from her injuries which it was. Hogs and dogs hurt you in different ways

How does feral hog taste vs domesticated pig
Depends. A regular feral pig will taste just fine if you feed them on corn for a couple weeks. those are regular domesticated pigs that have gone wild, so they taste like any other pig
The wild Russian boars are fricking horrible, all you can do is make smoke sausage out of them. The meat has a strong musky flavor to it. some people say you can keep soaking it in icewater until all the blood's gone and then they're edible but that's a lot of work and I know other people that say they tried it and had no luck.
Some friends of mine just a couple miles from here kill 20 A month at least. They've tried everywhere there is to cook him, and contrary to what some here aresaying they just can't get them to be worth a damn. the first time you eat one you'll be like , that's different. By the third or fourth one you never want to eat another bite of one again

Which is what the sherif said in the press conference.

It’s hormones. Domestic mature boars have a similar taste they are just typically made into sausage so the taste is hidden.
