Nowadays, science (especially the atmospheric kind), and increasingly medicine is open to each's interpretation based on what's on the interwebs or some wacko AM radio show.

Nevermind actual scientists and doctors. It's like everyone's crazy uncle has finally grabbed the mic or in many cases, been elected to office.

This is what we get when people vote straight ticket and have no clue who we're electing. Both sides. shite amazes me.

I'm familiar with Jonathan and his family. Went to Church with them for some time. I'll stick my neck out and say he's a really good father and family man. He's certainly not gay.

Having said that, I don't share his opinions on a lot of things including vaccine efficiency. Politically, he's a hard line Republican. Whatever the mainstream republican/conservative believes, he takes it to the right by ten-fold. His position is formed more out of the belief that government should absolutely not be allowed to force you to get vaccinated (I'm leaning towards agreeing with him). And before government can force you to do something such as get vaccinated, they have to prove it works. So his goal here is to instill doubt that vaccinations work to stay ahead of government making vaccines mandatory. He's taken this route with other policies including gun carrying rights for example.

This isn't a good way to go about arguing against government mandated vaccination. And it's absolutely moronic to not get your kids vaccinated.

Foregoing your child's vaccinations outside of legitimate medical concerns is an auto disqualifier for being a good father.

If you read what he actually says, that is not at all what he is arguing. He is just an idiot.

Flat earthers are generally innocuous and not even obnoxious. There is a big chunk of them that are just having fun with it, not unlike tOT does with many subjects.

The anti-vac crowd is potentially extremely dangerous. They potentially pose an existential threat to modern society.

I mean I kinda get it. I'm no scientist and I'm not into magic and shite, but as a 35 year old man in 2019, I still find it hard to explain the fact that I have unlimited information in my pocket at all times as anything else but magic.
