75% of the state lives in the triangle. Nothing worthwhile, other than the wildly overrated hill country, is close at all. No beaches, no mountains, barely any good state parks, nothing.
Claiming all of Texas in these arguments is like saying you get to include the panhandle beaches, nw Arkansas, and Mississippi delta for Louisiana

We have plenty of state parks including Big Bend which is bigger than most national parks.

Texas is the best state in the country and there’s really not a debate.
Texas isn’t stealing cultures - all those cultures are moving to Texas because it’s a better place to live.

Louisiana outdoors is restricted to activities involving the water. Some of those are GREAT activities.
Texas has those, and miles and miles of other sights to see.
You started the argument about Texas being inferior culturally. Then you had to take out financial, career, political advantages, etc.
Then you assume everyone lives in the triangle of DFW, Houston, SA.
When someone says they do not live there and instead live by a beach, you say it’s a shitty beach.
When someone mentions the rivers, mountains, and parks of the state, you say they cannot access it in daily life.
You have definitely succeeded in throwing shite at a wall. You have not succeeded in having anything stick.
