It's more like the $80k millionaire now but the same rules still apply. Make $80k with a $2500 per month apartment, a $800 car note, and hit the bar for $18 drinks 3 times a week. Very quick way to go broke for a 25-30 year old

exactly! Ithink a gallon of milk is around $10 in Alaska and gas is crazy high also. I guess it can't factor all the homeless californians who have no CC to get into debt with either

That article takes so many leaps and bounds, it's to know where to start.

Louisiana is a poor state with a large % of uneducated residents with shitty credik.

Damn, that's a stunning revelation!

There’s that, but the new rage is the three hundred thousand dollar billionaire.

Travel Baseball isn't going to pay for itself. The wife has to have the Yukon and the boat to pull behind it on the weekends.

No shite. When all the libs come from other states en masse, inflating home values, wages don't increase in proportion. In order to buy a house, the non-migrants will have to borrow and spend above their means in order to compete. This is why Southern states need to put a quota on the number of outsiders allowed in.

it is the fault of liberals. they screw up their own states, move South and inflate the state economy.

Holy shite that's real. On what planet is paying a credit company over time for Door Dashes not nuked from the solar system.

If it's truly interest-free installments, I don't see the big deal.

from a sinister business owner’s perspective, maybe.
from a personal finance perspective… absolutely not.

I will admit, it does make the urge to splurge easier.

I believe it. Lower wages plus extremely high insurance costs.

I have trouble believing Texas is but I guess there's a lot more to the state than North Dallas.

Believe it or not, I did really well in "marxist" Massachusetts. My salary was double what it was in Louisiana. Rent and taxes were more expensive but it more than made up for it. Plus the schools, libraries, parks, roads were all top notch. I just didn't like the weather.
