The prime rib and steak in TX is far superior to anything in Louisiana.

I’d say all non-seafood meat is better in Texas.
You can't cook pork. You frick up wild game. And all of your typical texas bbq is pathetically underseasoned and over smoked.
I didn't even mention that you can't make a proper sausage to save your life.

Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican is also way better in TX.
Tex mex is garbage. Mexican food is good because of peppers, onions and garlic... I wonder who uses those with the same wreckless abandon as our similarly sized mexican brethren...

Your opinion sucks more dick than the average Aggie.

The only food TX has over Louisiana is Central Texas BBQ.
Outside of that, Louisiana has them beat across the board.
No one cares about Mexican food.

And IMO a lot of the best food in LA is made at home. I didn't forget how to make Louisiana food when I moved to TX.
While home cooking rules, we do have a really nice restaurant scene going on. I ate at “Social”-it’s in Lafayette, last night. Not a huge menu but everything on it was really, really good, including the appetizers.
Very creative selections, and the liquor for those of you who consider yourselves aficionados in that department, is definitely many notches above the standard offerings.Seems as if one of their specialties is keeping a good stock of the highly sought after stuff, which can sometimes be quite difficult to obtain.
It’s called “Social”, and it’s on Johnston St, across the Blvd from La Fonda-and that place is still cookin’.

What if a person makes a lot more money in Louisiana than they would in Texas? What if they own a profitable business? What if their kids are thriving in a certain settings? There can be many reasons. Not every area if Texas is that good.

You really are slow. I will explain it to you like you are 5 since judging from your post history that probably wasn’t long ago.
A. I didn’t say it. It was a comment to your comment about another poster’s statement.
B. This was their statement:
“I’m willing to bet anything besides seafood and Cajun is better in Texas”
In other words my point stands, you suck at reading comprehension.
Try to keep up.

Houston is literally a top food destination in the country.
Literally? According to who? I've literally never met a person in my entire life who's says let's go to Houston for their food.
