I'm rooting for it, but he's fallen short before, more than once.

I can’t wait til some ol baw hooks up his Cummins 3500 to that little thing for a bumper pull contest and pulls that little shitcan into a couple different pieces.

If it's anything like the Model S P100D which put down on the dyno 920 ft lbs, it will not end well for the Ram.

Have you seen the torque numbers on the Teslas?

I assume those are concept renderings? He's definitely going to have to make it look more baw'ish to get any interest from most truck drivers. Futuristic looking isn't very appealing in that segment.

He's just trying to get more funding for his money hemorrhaging company by putting this out there.

The truck won't happen in any real volume, if at all, and won't be better than the trucks from the big three.

No he hasn't. He's probably just a simple el gauncho follower.

The type of people who typically buy Teslas are not the type of people that usually buy trucks.

I'm sorry but that's one of the ugliest vehicles I've ever seen.

I do like the look of the other Teslas though.

I cannot wait for Tesla to be a thing of the past. This is not an indictment of electric cars, but a specific indictment of Tesla living off the Gov't teet (subsidies per car) -- it's a totally unsustainable business model and one I wish the federal gov't would end.

Additionally, Tesla owners report nightmare situations when their cars need body or mechanical work, which isn't my problem at all (at least not like the subsidies).

None of that performance will matter if it looks anything like most of those renders.

OP should have done a better job saying those are just fan concepts, and we still don't know what the Tesla pickup will look like.
