The Philippines was rocked with a 6.3 magnitude earthquake this morning that sent buildings swaying and people running for safety. But one of the most bizarre videos of the earthquake so far has to be this footage of water pouring out of a residential skyscraper in Manila’s Binondo district. According to local reports, that water is from a penthouse swimming pool.

The building, called the Anchor Skysuites, is relatively new and didn’t officially open until 2015. It’s one of the tallest buildings in the area and is credited as the tallest building in any Chinatown around the world outside of China.

Could you imagine being in that pool when this started happening.

Turn around expecting the worlds largest chick to have jumped in just to all of a sudden be plummeting to your death

What a weird distinction. Cool video, though.

I don't scare easily but that would freak me the F out. One bad wave and you're being pushed over the side.

Not saying that wouldn't scare the f out of me, but realistically that's just the water coming through the guard rails yeah?

one minute you think you're in a really cool wave pool. next you're falling 53 stories onto the street.

I can. And I'd expect that water to be falling out brown.

If I were in that pool when that started, there would be a turd in my close proximity. That’s all I’m saying. And prolly a yellow hue too.

My husband wondered if it was an infinity pool. And anyone in it could have had the ride of a lifetime, until they had the drop of a lifetime.

A lot of historic/heritage churches were also damaged in the earthquake including one built in the 1600's.
