I wasn’t getting on from dalrymple, just stating that they’re extremely close. I wasn’t clear enough on that. That portion is so frustrating because I always get off at Louise for work but I always feel bad being in that right lane blocking people coming in from Dalrymple, but it’s unavoidable most the time.

Got the story of what happened from a friend's brother, who is a fireman in Livingston. Apparently an 18-wheeler was headed east on I-12 in the right lane and lost a tire, which caused it to hit a SUV in the left lane. It made the SUV flip over in the neutral ground and then the 18-wheeler went across the neutral ground and hit another 18-wheeler head on that was coming westbound. Apparently one of the 18-wheelers was carrying some flammable shite and it was a big bomb that killed both drivers. He thinks the SUV driver survived but he isnt sure. They were still alive when they went into the Acadian helicopter.

Is there any alternative besides I-10 for the BR to NO trip?

If I'm not on the road before 4:45am the amount of idiots driving that stretch is insane

I have been wondering about what happened. We had to take 10 to 55 to get to a high school game in Covington. On the way home, about 10 pm, 12 was open but it seems like all of the debris was pushed north of the west bound lane, which seems opposite of what you described.

According to the radio yesterday, the SUV driver was still alive.

No. Cable barriers start about a mile east of where this happened

The Government needs to four lane each side to the Miss Border and put a cement divider up the entire way.

Would not matter. They are not designed to stop 18 wheelers. Passenger vehicles only.
