I-12 sucks...
They seriously need to widen it and make all 18 wheelers stay in the right lane...

What pisses me off is that 77 isn’t fast enough for those assholes that drive that stretch daily. I hate that stretch and avoid it like the plague.

I'm not surprised in the least. I roll out from Geismar/Prairieville every morning around 4:30 AM, to hit job sites, which I have done for 30 years. Over the years, I see folks putting on makeup, reading books, the paper, playing on the phone, texting, lolly gagging...…

Feels like it to me. Just started driving on I12 daily and getting on it quickly at 70 is dangerous with the 18 wheelers going 75+. Definitely seems to be a 2:1 ratio at least of 18 wheelers to passenger cars.

Yep, and widen it all you want. Dumbasses are still going to drive like dumbasses.
Driving 77 really isn't an issue if you are alone on an open interstate.
The assholes who can't be content with waiting in line in the left late while the flow passes someone only doing 73 in the right late is the problem most of the time. He's got to cut in and out of traffic with 3 feet of bumper space.
