10 to 2 am, X, yogi DMT, and a box of krispy kreme's in my "need to know" pose just outside of area 51, contemplating the whole chosen people thingy when just then a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this. Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my birkinstocks, and me yelping "holy frickin' shite!"

No, you wouldn't know. Actually was chased off from around there back s. Not really sure which part of the base but there is plenty of signage to let you know. We were just dumb kids on atvs that got too close. humvees started coming your way and we hauled arse. I'm sure the knew it was just some kids needing to be ran off.

Yeah, I figured situations like yours happen every so often. However, I'll never understand the people who purposefully try to get too close to the base. They're never going to see anything, so why bother?

You get the exact same threat if you attempt to sneak onto or around ANY high security military base. They have top secret hardware that they test there. It's not a stop on a tour. People act like its their civil right to peer around a military base.

Watch the documentary called mirage men. It's awesome. The area 51 complex is a US military advanced design and technology center. They had actual agents working in the town convincing nosy townspeople that aliens were there and UFOs had been seen etc...all to make sure they weren't capturing any info on the real military tech being tested. Often times the military would put weird lights on some of the craft to give the illusion of UFO.

Back in the day you could. They had a spot called Freedom Ridge where you could overlook parts of the base. The government has been snatching up the land for some time though.

a few Vegas locals told me that if you just wander into the area like a lost tourist or a kid chasing his frisbee, security isn't too hard on you. But if you go intentionally fricking around the place (like these two dipshits did) they get far more aggressive and dickish. They essentially know who is stumbling around and who is trying to snoop. The snoopers are treated more harshly according to local lore.

Fat bald headed camo dude comes out like they've already crossed the trespassing line, which CLEARLY, they didn't.
Then fat boy said that they were going to call Lincoln County and get them to write them a ticket. Which clearly means that he's not on government property. For what? And why can't HE do anything about it since he's acting like these guys are on federal property. These guys private security and fat guy is living his glory days intimidating people?
