Use to see Shaq in his yellow van.

(I did some work for a car dealer in Orlando where Shaq traded that explorer in. They had the car in the shop trying to figure out what to do with it. Had some big fins on the side like a Ferrari. You could not open the back doors.)

Don't know about LSU but maybe similar to Alabama.

Test scores were posted outside classrooms using our SSNs.

Tuition was $110.00/semester.
Watched the 1969 LSU-Notre Dame game in the Gym-Armory on closed-circuit television.
Watched the PMAC being built.
Paid $10/semester for parking in West Stadium lot.
Rode the Tiger Train.
Lockett Hall was brand new.
Hung out at The Keg & The Bengal.
Took Goodwood to Acadian because I-10 wasn't complete.
My draft lottery number was #72.
Had a 2-S deferment - full-time college student.

That brings back fond memories of sitting in Cox Auditorium doing the crossword puzzle with the gal I was seeing. Didn't learn a thing in statistics.

My father took me to my first LSU football game. JimmyTaylor played. When I was at LSU we tied Nebraska 6 to 6 and we should have won.

When we got our schedules it just said building: Class B. No one knew where it was. Until it was renamed, many people referred to it as the Class B building.
I want to say it was that way for a year or so.

Student section went all the way to the 30 yard line & seats were 2” bigger…..
They rented those God earful metal seat backs that would go flying by the 4th quarter….
Good times…
