Nope, the second location. Original was at Claiborne Hill.

Did y'all ever hit the RC plane Saturday morning party in the field that's now the service road going to the Movie Tavern?

There was a movie theater in Mandeville by the DMV. Saw one of the Flintstone movies there. Also saw Planet of the Apes 2001 in downtown Covington at the theater that played Rocky Horror each year.

Was it down by the 4th Ave boat launch?
I'm not sure. I just remember him saying it was in the park somewhere. I guess he was about 14 years old or so, so its circa 1963. He and his body saw it washed up on shore, and went into town and told the first cop they saw. The cop though they were pulling his leg, and told them to go away, so they went on home and I guess forgot about it! Someone discovered it as it was in the paper a few days later.

It was the cheap movies. My mawmaw used to sneak candy and drinks in there when I was young. Now, I think it is a wedding reception place. I went once like 7 years ago

Y'all ever hit the old Deanie's in Mandeville up? Her house was by my grandfather's place in old Mandeville.

I didn't know there were trailers in Mandeville until a few years ago. It's close to Lake Castle.

They used to have them around Coffee Street too.

That was a snowball stand on the corner of 25th and Jefferson in the Old Ibos Roofing Building. Many a day spent walking there as a kid. Then to the library.

I totally forgot about that one. Wasn't it the Comenge family that had it. It was in that old white house.

You're thinking of the K&B or Eckards.
