March and April are my least favorite months.
Skiing shuts down or isn’t very good. Too muddy for hiking, golf, camping. Water is too high for rafting and too muddy for fishing.
The rest of the months make up for it though.

Yeah, we just call it Mud Season.

Not sure if posted but horrible traffic trying to get to the cool parts. I go hiking every year and even in places you think are somewhat remote there is always lines of cars. Everyone is going to the “special place” . If you go from the Denver area and head out on I-70 west on a weekend it’s going to be gridlock heading out and back.

Had an Aunt who was a nurse in Vail for 30 years. She lived in Leadville and commuted, way too expensive to live in Vail.
Which is why I moved from Aspen to Basalt. 1/2 price 10 miles down valley.

It is slowly moving back right. A Republican was elected to the HOR in a Denver metro district.

Moving? It’s already there.

I moved here in 2005 from Lafayette. Yes, it's a blue state, but the county I live in is red as well as the surrounding counties. You'll def miss the food and culture of Louisiana as the food here is pretty bland and it def has no strong culture. Besides that it's a wonderful state. It does get cold, but I feel it's sunnier during the winter and you can't beat the summers.

The town of Golden has an annual event celebrating Golden Retrievers attracting hundreds of pups and their owners from all over the county.
Oh wait. I thought you said “Tell me something RAD about Colorado”. Oops

Pretty scenery will eventually lose out to over burdensome government.
What does the louisiana government do better than Colorado’s?

I’ve never seen the colorado government secure a first tiger for their state. Much less a second.

It always amazing to me when a dude who lives in Denham Springs and who has only traveled out of the state a few times calls a place like Denver or Seattle a shithole.

I posted earlier, maybe you were too busy smelling your own liberal farts to read. But, one can criticize leftists and their shitty handling of government, and also criticize Louisiana and it's shitty handling of government.
You're blind loyalty to the left is cute. But there is a reason why beautiful placed like California, has the highest migration out of any state in the country. That state, if not run by leftists, should be an unstoppable force. But you progressives just can't help yourselves. Same with Colorado.
Your ideology did not create the natural wonders of California or Colorado. God created that. You retards have done your best to make nearly impossible for normal Americans to live and work there.
And.... if your liberal governance is so great, how did it get so soundly rejected a couple weeks ago?

I grew up in Golden
My family and I love Golden! We are born and raised in South Louisiana, but found Golden a few years back when girlfriend and I went to a concert at REd Rocks. Got engaged at Chart House on Gennessee Rd (?). Have gone back multiple times, usually in the late spring early summer. Love Woody's, Love Golden Diner, love shopping all along the main drag. Wife and girls love the market on Saturdays. I have zillow search saved for anything around the main drag, would love an apt over the General Merchandise Store one day, those frickers are expensive.
If I was 20 again and had no responsibilities I would move to Golden in a heart beat.
